Stacy Simone is a New York State licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. In addition, she holds a certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association, is a licensed Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities, and is PROMPT-trained. She earned a master’s degree in Speech Pathology from Old Dominion University, where she also served as a graduate research assistant. She received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from James Madison University. Prior to joining the Manhattan Star Academy team, Stacy provided intervention and evaluation services for children in early intervention, preschool, and school-aged settings.  Stacy is passionate about allowing children to learn through play, and providing a fun, nurturing environment for students to experience success.
